One of the great things about mobiles is that 4G is vast and can offer quite decent speeds, now we do offer devices that will allow you to use 4G aka mobile phone signal as the connection to the house instead of the landline from the other big providers. We are still in the process of providing the services such as SIMs on a rolling plan basis BUT we do offer the routers on a pay outright and make it yours. Contract prices are soon to be announced. Even a deal with a Swedish devil of sorts might help with payment plans

For now, we if speed is not an issue SMARTY for the SIM for the router as you can get unlimited data for £18 to £20 per month (They vary for offers so beware) prices on a no-contract basis and sometimes that on a discount. The Speed might not be as fast in some cases. So EE sims like 1pmobile, CMLink might be an option to look into. Especially as Those are getting faster and not as expensive.

Areas where THREE or EE is a bit of a hassle. Plus brands such as Lebara and Voxi offer unlimited data for up to £35 per month. A Simpler no-nonsense option is GoVIVO for £24.99 per month flat rate rolling

Note that up to speeds are NOT what your service or sim will provide you but the categories of 4G LTE are placed in these speeds. Be aware mast in the Rural areas can be limited to 65mbps

If we do a setup/installation costing £40, we can be flexible on the pricing of the setup or the routers, due to reductions in prices or the current price climate

  • TP-Link MR6400 4G router. Again its 4G LTE CAT 4 which means it’s up to 150mbps down, 50mbps up, 4 Ethernet Ports and only 300mbps single band wifi = £84 outright. Tavistock doesn’t get speeds faster than 60 unless right next to mast.
  • Another option around the £64 mark is the Mercusys (Owned by TP-Link) MB110-4G which is a smaller unlocked router which is more condensed but does have better support for external antennas

We can provide other Routers but these would be the simplest and most popular choices for customers. We also Sell MIMO antennas such as the Fullband 4G Window Antenna that sticks to glass or Even more powerful ones for £34 each. OR Fullband MIMORAD for £70 then Pole on top for £20 to mount it to a wall.
