Please Note: We have been asked on multiple occasions by various parties regarding Hiring and work experience, and eventually, when the admin is done enough to work out the preparation regarding the legal and admin side of this, we are currently unable to sort this out currently aka no. This will eventually be able to manage on top of other admin tasks, and eventually, worst case, have to delay repairs at times due to the repeated asking about the matter. Micromanaging is complex, especially on how some days in the shop is unpredictable due to urgent customer demand, like a same-day phone repair or same-day phone or laptop setup
We do NOT purchase devices or parts of the general public, if we have to be harrased into purchasing, then expect a charge and public response for this.
Accepting donations has caused us more hassle to keep the shop clean and sorted-ish, due to this, which is getting to the point it ends up delayed indefinitely and then ends up in the long term in a pile.
Due to sods Law, or correctly known as “circumstances”, it often happens every week that the phone will ring when a customer is conversing with staff in the shop. This will lead to a delay in voicemails. This causes delays with WhatsApp replies as well. (The Phone number DOES WORK on WhatsApp)
Please note that there will be a delay for replies on Monday due to the location being closed for visits performed. Calling after an email not being replied to can also cause delays for a response via phone on this day. We do apologise for this happening due to customer demand
iPad repairs start from £90 for labour (3 x £30 per hour) plus the cost of the part. This is due to warranty considerations.
We do not repair tech like
- Vacuum Cleaners
- Headphones without risk of permanent damage to the item
- Apple Watches/Smart Watches due to the risk of damage to small components
- TVs and SOME Monitors. Due to the exact parts being hard to source
- Kitchen equipment like Air Fryers
- Massage Chairs
- Dog Collars
- TV or most infrared and Bluetooth remotes,
- Heart Rate Monitors
- Vintage Typewriters
- airpods or earphones or earbuds

Soldering REPAIRS are from £90 + Cost of Part. This DOES include HDMI Port Replacement on Consoles such as PS4, PS5, Series X and S, and there is a CHANCE that the board will NOT survive the repair operation and will not be covered for an inclusive replacement board. Ports START from £10 alone. WE Do offer a send-away service, which is no less than £120, which covers the sending/courier charge as well as suppliers costs to us.
The ticketing System seems to have resolved itself after more checking, so it has got some help with keeping track of plans
The Following is offered by us; these prices are guidelines; sometimes the cost might be lower or higher due to location and time:
- PC Building – £40 per Hour. This can include a lesson on how to build a PC or Motherboard/Case replacement fitting (Motherboard or Case is an extra cost of the board order is needed) – This does NOT include a OS reinstall (Cost is further down), Water Cooling of all in one Pumps is all we support, we do not retop up the liquid inside Tubes or radiators. Any more than 3 x ARGB fans/devices can cause build delays, depending on the Cases and Fans used.
- Android Phone repair (if not soldering required) – £20 per hour (Minimum 2 hours is quoted) aka Price of £40 + Cost of Part
- Please note, screens that do NOT use frames will cost 4 charged hours of labour OR risk/void warranty to fit in the 2-hour time frame that most repairs like this take due to the issues with frameless Android screens. Samsung J series is not affected by this.
- Google Pixel – All Pixel repairs from 20th march onwards, are now £80 labour and cost of part due to the warranty issues that come with it Which is even on older pixel screens.
- Phones which just require replacement screens, which do not show a picture, for temporary transfer that do NOT support External screens, such as Pixels, Samsung Galaxy A Series and Most entry-level phones below the £300 retail are facing this design. The cost of this is £80, which includes a transfer which requires the customer to be there due to the passcode/pattern. The screen is NOT SOLD to you if this option is considered and taken
- Android and Windows Tablet repair – FROM £60 for labour (2 x £30 per hour minimum) + cost of parts
- Apple iPad repairs – £90 (3 x £30 per hour minimum) + Cost of part (except non iPad pro charge ports due to micro soldering). iPad Screens if the glass or Digitizer from £25 then £90 for fitting, £115 Total. Applies from iPad 6th – iPad 9th Generation (iPad Air 2 and pros are not in this pricing bracket, so contact to ask on those screens.
- Software installations – From £20
- Password/account Resets: £20 per average hour
- Virus Removal – From £30
- Device Setups, if not purchased from us either in the shop or delivered to the location,
- If in the Tavistock Area – £40, for visits outside that area it is £60.
- Router/Wifi network Setup @ Home if in the Tavistock Area- £30.
- Operating System Vanilla Install or Hard Drive transfer- £40. This doesn’t just mean Windows install; we can install other operating systems as well. This also includes the fitting of the Drive.
- Upgrades or Part Replacements (Laptops) – Minimum Charge of £30 per Part fitting + Cost of Part. Keyboard replacements on newer laptops are Palm reset replacements that can cost £60 for labour due to having to remove all components. Hinges can also affect the palmrest or bottom cover/chassis and screen back cover, so be aware that the price for parts that are needed might be higher again.
- Standard 15.6″ non-touch screen Laptop Screen Replacement, not a glossy screen – From £75, Including Fitting. This can vary in cost due to the different types of laptop screens. Some prices of the screen panels alone cost £75 or more
- MacBook screens are £90 fitting + the Cost of the screen. This is due to potential issues with fragility and sourcing of working screens without issues of weakness from the feedback of one customer mentioning “thumb light press caused screen to break” which became a refund situation.
- Game Console Repairs – From £40 per hour + Cost of part. There is a gamble or chance with any console repairs that require soldering or heat treatment, which can damage parts. This can cause either delays with replacing said damage due to the heat needed, or worst case has to be sent to another provider.
- Console (PlayStation 4,5, Xbox One or Series X /S) HDMI Ports and Nintendo Switch Charging Ports are £100. This includes a fitting attempt, which might not survive the operation locally
- Potentially for a higher cost of no less than £120, the console be sent off to a supplier for a number of weeks, which has a higher success rate.
